The temple of Karani Mata is a temple where 20 thousand mice live and the devotees who come to the temple get the mesmerizing offerings of rats only.

The stench of rats not coming to the temple

- It is surprising that even after having so many mice there is no smell in the temple at all, till date no disease spreads. Even so, the devotees did not get sick by eating the juices of rats.

Know in the slides ahead why the mother had been engaged in the service of people except married life ...

Karani Mata, whom the devotee considers to be the incarnation of Mother Jagadamba. It is said that Karani Mata was born in 1387 in a Charna family. His childhood name was Raghubai. Raghubai was married to Kiploji Charna of Bhatika village, but shortly after marriage, her mind got bored with worldly life.

Later, Raghubai married Kipoji Charna by marrying her younger sister Gulab and putting herself in the service of the mother and devotion of the people. Due to public welfare, supernatural work and miraculous powers, Rigwai is worshiped by local people in the name of Karani Mata.

It is believed that Karani's mother lived for 151 years. At present, where this temple is situated, Karahi mother worshiped her goddess goddess in a cave on there. This cave is still located in the temple premises.

It is said that Karani Mata was Jyotirlin in the year 1538. After being their Jyotirlin, devotees started worshiping him by establishing their idol, which has been continuously continuing since then.

- Karani is also the Kuldevi of Bikaner Raj Bharna. It is said that with his own blessings, the establishment of Bikaner and Jodhpur principality was established. The present temple of Karani Mata was built by Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner principality in the beginning of the twentieth century.

In addition to the rats in this temple, the excellent workmanship made at the main entrance of the marble, large salts of silver lying on the main door, a large bed of silver kept for the offerings of maternal gold umbrella and rats is also the main attraction.

Thousands of mice roam the same way inside the Cis temple of Karani Mata. There is the rule of rats inside the temple. As you enter the temple, there are mice everywhere. The mood of mice can be estimated from the fact that you have to go dragging your feet to reach the main statue inside the temple. Because if you lift your feet, you may come under it and the rat may be injured, which is considered inauspicious.

Twenty thousand black mice
In this temple there are some white mice with about twenty thousand black rats. These rats are considered to be more sacred. It is believed that if you see white rat then your wish will be fulfilled. That's why people's eyes often look for white rats.

One of the mice of this temple is that the Mangala Aarti, which takes place at 5 am in the temple and at 7 o'clock in the evening, most of the mice come out of their bills during the evening arti. These two times most of the rats are the goddess quartet. Prasad, who is offered to mother, first eat the rat and then it is distributed. To protect these rats from the eagles, vultures and other animals, the fine places are found in open places in the temple.
Rats living in Karani Mata Temple are considered to be the children of mother. According to the story of Karani Mata, once Karamani mother's step son (son of her sister Gulab and her husband) Lakshman, located in Kolayat Kapil Sarovar, drowned in an attempt to drink water. When Karani mother came to know of this, she prayed to Yama, God of death, to revive her again.

- Firstly, Yamraj refused, but later he was forced to revive him as a rat. However, in the folk songs of Bikaner, a different story of these rats is also told, according to which once an army of 20000 soldiers came to draw on the country which Mother made her a rat with her glory and kept her in service.
